Croc Hop is made and run by Grinface, an individual developer. There is no company behind it. You can reach a real person at the address at the bottom of this page.
Nothing. There are no purchases, no subscriptions and no paid items of any kind. The coins in the shop are earned by playing and cannot be bought. If that ever changes, it will be said here first and it will not be made retroactive on anything you already own.
The game has optional rewarded ads: a short video you choose to watch, from Google AdMob, for coins, another try at the daily course or a mystery box. The reward is given once Google confirms the video was watched, usually within seconds, and each is limited per day. Nothing is ever lost by not watching one.
The game makes an account for you the first time it runs. You do not sign up and you are not asked for an email address. Signing in with Google is optional and exists for one reason: so that a new phone can get your account back. Nothing in the game is locked behind it.
You are responsible for what happens on your account. If you hand your phone to somebody who ruins your score, that is not something anybody else can undo.
Everything on this list is something the game or its server can actually see, which is why it is on the list:
Depending on what it was: a score removed, a name or picture reset, or the account closed. Serious or repeated cases will not get a warning first. If you think that has happened to you unfairly, write to the address below - a real person reads it, and mistakes do get reversed.
Every player page has a report button and a block button. Reporting sends the name or the picture to a queue that is actually read. Blocking is instant, private to you, and hides that person name and picture wherever you would have seen them. You never have to wait for anybody else to act before you stop having to look at something.
The name you choose and the picture you upload stay yours. By putting them on the leaderboard you are asking for them to be shown to other players, which is the only thing they are used for - they are never sold, never used in advertising, and never handed to anybody else. Delete your account and they go with it. See the privacy policy for exactly what is stored and for how long.
You can delete your account from inside the game, in Settings, or from crochop.com/delete without installing anything. It is immediate and it cannot be undone.
Croc Hop is provided as it is. It is a free game run by one person on ordinary infrastructure: it will sometimes be down, a duel will sometimes drop, and a release will sometimes have a bug in it. Reasonable care is taken with your data - see the privacy policy for what that means in practice - but no guarantee is made that the service will always be available, and nothing here is a warranty.
The one thing that IS promised: nothing you have earned will be taken away to sell back to you.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Changes that actually affect you - not a corrected typo - will also be said in the game.
Croc Hop is run from Turkey and these terms are read under Turkish law. That does not remove any right you have where you live: if your local consumer law gives you something stronger, you keep it.
